Many years ago a young friend of mine asked me to go to a drawing class with him. Without even taking a breath, I told him, “no, I can’t even draw a stick man.” He kept on and I wound up going, and, though there have been many breaks, now being retired I am lucky enough to pursue a fulltime life of art. I work in just about all mediums but my favorites include: graphite, charcoal, oils and acrylic impasto.
